Itinerary

1. Day 1: Amman

   • You will meet the guide at your hotel in Amman to take a taxi to the Citadel of Amman for an hour and a half's visit.
   • Then, continue walking through the old alleys towards downtown with short stops at the Roman public water fountain next to the fish and vegetables local market.
   • Finally, finish the Jordanian day after visiting the Jordanian Museum (closed on Tuesday).

   A traditional lunch would fit in upon agreement.

2. Day 2: Amman

   • Leave Amman at 08:00 AM towards the north to visit: first, a unique Islamic military fortress of Ajloun. Second, to witness the role of nature lovers looking after wild animals such as lions, bears and hyenas. 
   • Have a traditional Jerashian lunch followed by a visit to Jerash "Pompeii of the East" for two hours. 
   • Finally, return to Amman.

3. Day 3: Madaba

   • Leave Amman at 08:00 AM towards the south to start the first visit of the memorial burial of Moses at Nebo, followed by the Madaba oldest mosaic map at St. George Church in Madaba. Do not miss the speciality of Madaba. 
   • After these visits, head further south to reach Dana Guest House overnight. 
   • Enjoy a traditional dinner, breakfast and overnight stay amongst nature.

4. Day 4: Petra

   • Leave Dana at 08:00 AM towards Petra to start our visit at 09:30 AM. The guided tour is the classical tour from the visitor center to the Basin area, after which you will have more time and other places to explore on your own. 

   Dinner and overnight at Petra.

5. Day 5: Baptism Site

   • Leave Petra at 08:30 towards the lowest point on Earth to visit the Baptism site, an attempt to follow the footsteps of Jesus Christ at Peraea, the other holy land, for two whole hours with a stop at the Jordan River. 
   • The day ends at your hotel at the Dead Sea beach for a relaxation and beauty mud-treatment.

   End of program.
