Meet your guide at the Wadi Rum Visitor Center and start by taking a short walk through the Visitor Center area, which showcases exhibits about the local Bedouin culture, geology and wildlife of the region.
Start hiking with towering rock formations, sand dunes, and narrow canyons. Hike across the desert terrain, with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Your guide will point out some of the unique features of the desert ecosystem, including the hardy plants and animals that have adapted to the harsh conditions.
As you walk, occasionally stop to rest, take photos, or simply soak up the peaceful ambience of the desert landscape.
