Amman to Petra
Pick-up from the hotel lobby in Amman, and transfer via the Desert Highway for 2.5 hours to the astonishing rock city Petra. This fascinating ancient Nabatean capital dominated the Arabian trade routes and it is a must-see in the Middle East.
Reach Petra via a narrow canyon, and see the first view of the well-known, 40 meters high Treasury.
Meet the Petra guide at the Visitor's Centre and start to explore the mystic site.
Pass the Siq, a narrow, and have a first close view of the colorful sandstone, ending at the beautiful Treasury.
Walk along the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs, the Theatre, and Qasr Al Bint.
Return to the entrance gate.
In the afternoon, move to the Amman hotel.
