Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival at Amman

   • Upon arrival at Amman Airport, the representative will meet you with a Petra Nights Tours Sign after you pass through the customs.

   • Transfer to the hotel in Amman for overnight.

2. Day 2: Amman & Jerash Tour

   • Have breakfast, then start the day with a city tour in Amman.

   • Visit the Amphitheater and the Jordan Folklore Museum, and the Citadel.

   • From here, drive in the north of Jordan to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East.

   • Visit the spectacular Forum, Roman collonaded street, the Nymphaeum and Artemis Temple.

   • Back to hotel in Amman for overnight.

3. Day 3: 3 Desert Castles to Dead Sea Hotel

   • Today, start your tour to the Desert Castles in eastern Jordan.

   • Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Amra Castle with its zodiac dome and the early examples of Omayyad fresco paintings. 

   • Moreover, you view the fortress-like mysterious Qasr Kharanah and the black basalt Roman/Medieval Islamic fort at Azraq.

   • Continue to Dead Sea hotel and check-in. 

   • Rest of the day free with the opportunity to make the unique floating experience at the Dead Sea.

4. Day 4: Madaba to Mt. Nebo to King's Way to Kerak Castle to Petra

   • After breakfast, depart to Mt. Nebo. This is the place where Moses gazed at the promised land before he died, and it is believed to be his burial place. Visit the old monastery, overlooking the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and parts of the Holy Land.

   • Proceed to Madaba to view the famous mosaic 6th-century map of Palestine in St. George's church. 

   • Afterwards, drive to Kerak along the famous ancient biblical caravan route  - the King's Way.

   • Then, have a short stop in Wadi Al-Mujib, a great wide valley with magnificent geological formation. Visit the famous Crusader castle built in 1132 by King Baldwin I. of Jerusalem.

   • Continue to Petra for overnight.

5. Day 5: Petra Tour

   • Visit the red rose city of Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. You can start the trip on horseback or by foot to the canyon, the so called Siq, and then walk to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury, from here to the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle.

   Overnight in Petra.

6. Day 6: Wadi Rum Jeep Tour to Aqaba

   • In the morning, drive 1.5 hours southwards to the protected area of Wadi Rum, one of the most impressing desert landscapes in the world. Here, Bedouins live in a traditional way.

   • In a 4x4 Jeep, you discover canyons, sand dunes and Nabatean rock inscriptions.

   • Then, onto Aqaba at the Red Sea, where the rest of the day is free.

   Overnight in Aqaba.

7. Day 7: Aqaba at Leisure

   • Breakfast and overnight at the hotel, no other services provided. Free day to enjoy the Red Sea resort of Aqaba. Just relax, explore the duty-free shopping facilities or have fun with popular water activities like swimming, snorkelling or diving.

   Overnight in Aqaba.

8. Day 8: Final Departure

   • Depending on your departure time, transfer for about 4 hours to Amman Airport to say farewell and board your flight.
