Itinerary

1. Day 1- Amman Airport, Amman City Tour and Dead Sea Hotel

   • Get a warm reception at Amman Airport, before immigration formalities.

   • Discover Jordan's capital Amman, spread over 20 hills. First, visit the Citadel with the remains of the Umayyad Palace and the Hercules Temple.

   • The Archaeological Museum with its excellent collection.

   • Witness the Roman Theatre, dating back to 2nd century and the traditional souks.

   • Stroll off to Jabal to get an idea of the modernity of the city.

   • Transfer to the lowest point on the earth - the Dead Sea, where ever since the days of Herod the Great, people have flocked in search of its curative secrets.

   Free time, check in & overnight.

2. Day 2- Dead Sea Hotel and Petra Visit

   • After breakfast, check out.

   • Drive southwards and enjoy the scenic views of Dana.

   • In Shobak, visit an ancient crusader castle perched on the side of a rocky, conical mountain.

   • Continue to the red rose city of Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan.

   • Pass the canyon- the so called Siq, to see the most beautiful monument: the Treasury.

   • Continue via the Street of Facades to the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle.

   • Bid farewell to the guide at the restaurant area; 

   • Optional exploring of Petra, before walking the same way back to the entrance.

   Overnight in Petra.

3. Day 3- Petra Hotel, Wadi Rum Jeep ride, Amman Hotel

   • Head for breakfast, checkout and drive 1.5 hrs to Wadi Rum- one of the most impressive desert landscapes in the world.

   • Explore the area by a jeep ride to see rugged mountains, canyons, sand dunes and rock inscriptions from Thamudic and Nabatean period.

   • Transfer to Amman, check in and overnight.

4. Day 4- Amman Hotel to Amman Airport

   • Drive to Ajloun to visit the great 12th century Islamic castle built around 1184/85 by the famous Islamic leader Salah al-Din.

   • Explore Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East.

   • Visit the spectacular forum, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum and the Temple of Artemis.

   • Drive to Amman airport to board the flight.
