Day 1: Petra Tour
Meet your Jordanian tour guide upon arrival at the Amman Airport and be driven south for a full-day tour of the ancient city of Petra.
Start the tour of Petra on horseback. Petra is a city carved out of the mountains with huge colourful rocks earning it the moniker of 'Rose City'. Behold the splendid sights of this city as you explore its spectacular treasury, royal tombs, burial chambers and places of sacrifice.
Return to Amman for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Jerash & Amman
After breakfast, visit Jerash. Jerash is an ancient Greco-Roman city that is so well-preserved that it is called the Pompeii of the East. In the city's architecture, you will find a blend of the Greco-Roman world of the Mediterranean basin and the ancient traditions of the Arab Orient.
Make your way to downtown Amman.
Begin your tour of Amman by heading to the citadel. Visit Byzantine church ruins and historical Islamic palaces to gain a deeper understanding of the Jordanian city.
Gaze in awe at the magnificent Roman Theatre. Nearby are museums that will give you further insight into local culture and history.
As you depart to the airport, look outside your window on the way to witness spectacular views of the Dead Sea.
