Awad was an excellent choice for our one day crash tour of Petra. Prior to the trip, he was the only one to consistently and promptly respond to all of our questions. On the day of the trip, he met us promptly. He was friendly, helpful, and informative all the way. He made it a great experience and all that we asked for. We are glad that we asked to upgrade to an a/c van rather than a car for 4, since it's a long trip. Our only disappointment was that he didn't tell us in advance that we'd have to leave Petra by 3 due to renting the van and we would have stayed longer. Even so, we were exhausted and it was a great day, but if you are in that situation, be sure to clarify in advance. Otherwise we highly recommend Awad and thank him for the wonderful experience.

This was my first holiday with Explore.  I was travelling with a group of 7 other, most of whom had never met before.  Awad was our guide and made our tour a fantastic experience.  He has a great knowledge of the country, it's history and people and answered all of our questions with good humour and patience.  I genuinely feel that I have a much better understanding of the people of Jordan thanks to his openness and honesty.

I travelled to Jordan in early October and was blessed to have Awad as our tour guide.  He is very educated in his country, the history, the modern history, the culture and the many types of interests we tourists have.  I would recommend him to anyone wishing to travel to this amazing country.  His patience seemed endless and his interest in us was genuine.  His love of Jordan shines thru and thru as he shares so much history and interesting stories. 1000 thank you's Awad.

6 of us (including my 5 and 3 year old boys) spent a week in Jordan with Awad and all of us had a trip of a lifetime. Coming from Canada, we were not sure what we were in for when arriving in the Middle East, but Awad was instantly able to show us that Jordan was a very welcoming and friendly country. His resourcefulness to adjust itinerary items, such as changing our Dead Sea visit from the morning to the afternoon allowed us to visit other sites before it got hot, and enjoy an afternoon and watch the sunset at the Dead Sea.He was accommodating on when and where we wanted to eat, offering local options as well as making sure there was something that the kids would want to eat.  He was willing to carry one of my kids through the hills in Petra, after their little legs were tired of walking all morning. Any request we had was instantly taken care of, and he went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable (I do not know any other 5 and 3 year old kids that can say they rode camels into the sunset in Wadi Rum). We will return to Jordan thanks to our amazing week with Awad, and will insist that he be our guide to explore the rest of Jordan.
