Born in southern Bavaria I spent most of my life in and around Munich, working as a travel editor and author.I always loved the sea and enjoy now living in Jersey, where I qualified as a tourguide (having gained first experiences in tourguiding during my study times in France and Great Britain).

I lead walks in the intertidal zone for Jersey Walk Adventures, e.g.to Seymour Tower or into the oyster beds, but also guide walks along the cliff paths and lead coach tours to the cultural and natural beauties of the Channel Islands.
