Hi there, I'm an archaeologist born and grown up in Sicily.I hold a BA in Preservation of Cultural Herigate, with a specific focus on classical archaeology, completed by a further Postgraduate qualification in Sicily and Magna Graecia Archeology. My main research interest is on Magna Graecia and Sicily Archaeology, about which I published different scientific papers.I was also assistant to the Chair of Greek and Roman Archaeology at the BA Sciences of Tourism of the "Università degli Studi della Calabria".I worked as an excavation supervisor in Abruzzo, Puglia, Calabria and Sicily and I currently collaborate with the Syracusan Board of Archaeological Heritage. What I love most about my job is sharing my passion for the land with others and spreading knowledge of the territory and culture of Sicily as I know her.I am always delighted to guide my visitors into an unconventional world of archaeology, food, wine and traditions.According to me, a place must not only be visited, but felt and lived in all of its multifaceted features. This is the concept I have of any excursion. We must not be tourists, we have to be part of the society in which we stay, blending our customs with their way to live.I think that this belief, in combination with my expertise acquired through extensive and continuing academic research and high-grade studies, makes me a totally different kind of tour guide.
