I am  a Scot who has lived in Caserta, Italy for about 6 years.(Now have a B1 certificate in Italian)  I am married to a bi-lingual Italian, Enzo., who was born and brought up here and has a wealth of local knowledge.

 I have a degree from Edinburgh University, which included  study of Classical Archaelogy and Literature, Latin, The Ancient Near East and  Greek and Roman History. 

I am a  qualified History teacher (Durham University) with over 30 years experience.   I have sold many of my resources on the Times Educational website and made  Cold War podcasts for audiopi.co.uk.
