Porto Flavia Highlights
- Start from Cagliari, and reach Nebida (about 1-hour drive), with a view of the Laveria La Marmora, an imposing late 19th-century mining building built overlooking the sea.
- Drive later to Porto Flavia, a masterpiece of mining engineering unique in the world and admire the most beautiful view of the Pan di Zucchero stacks, the highest in the mediterranean.
- Relax or take an aperitif with a tasting of typical products in a beautiful panoramic position facing the sea.
- The experience will end with a walk among the millenary olive trees of S'Ortu Mannu, considered by botanists to be the most important in the mediterranean in terms of the size and age of the olive trees: (houses 700 centuries-old olive trees).
- End the tour with a visit to an artistic residence, an ancient sardinian house in raw earth where an aperitif with local products awaits. Walter, the landlord, will explain the importance of raw earth architecture throughout the history of Sardinia and in the world.
