Itinerary

Visit the most important landmarks of Lucca:
- Walk on the medieval walls of Lucca: Originally built as a defensive rampart, the walls have become a pedestrian walkway since they lost their military importance. They continue to provide beautiful viewing opportunities of the city.
- Stroll through Piazza Anfiteatro: A public square in Lucca; the circle of buildings surrounding the square follows the elliptical shape of the second-century Roman amphitheatre of Lucca.
- Visit the San Michele Church: A Roman Catholic basilica church in Lucca built over the ancient Roman forum.
- Stop by San Frediano: The Basilica of San Frediano is a Romanesque church situated on the Piazza San Frediano.
- Tour the Cathedral of San Martino with Volto Santo: The cathedral houses an eight-foot-tall, ancient wooden carving of Christ's crucifixion.
