Sites to visit in Palermo
Visit Monreale by taxi to visit the Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site with its beautiful Byzantine mosaics that cover an area of 6000 square meters.
Move to Palermo and see another UNESCO site, the Royal Palace with the Palatine Chapel.
The tour will continue along Corso Vittorio Emanuele to see the puppeteer Vincenzo Argento's workshop who makes hand-made puppets.
Further, visit the street market Ballarò, the baroque Church of Jesus and Pretoria Square.
