Hello Everybody!

My name is Imma Sansone, I am 55 years old and I live in Pompei.

Yes, exactly, in Pompei.The Roman city which was destroyed during the eruption by Vesuvius in October 79 AC

Having been born in Pompeii my destiny was already “written in the stars”: I graduated in  Archaeology at the Istituto Universitario Orientale in Naples.

When I was a child I fell in love with the Eastern and Western Ancient Worlds: Archaeology fascinated me a lot.Myths, Legends, Curiosities and History have always been my “daily bread”

Years of study have allowed me to know and appreciated The Ancient World: I specialize in History, Greek and Latin Languages, Sumerian, Egyptian,  and Roman Cultures.

But, as you already know, you never stop learning and still today I live submerged by books, videotapes and newspapers article.

I am a Licenced Local Guide since 2010 and I speak Italian, English, and French.

I love Italy, I love my region, Campania, which is famous for its Pizza, Spaghetti and Mandolino music but what I want to do is take you through the grandeur of Antiquity, to worlds already lived in but which seem deeply modern.

By experiencing this together I hope that you, like me, will fall in love with my land!
