Florence Tour
Meet the Italian tour guide at Piazza Santa Maria Novella, the entrance of the Novecento Museum (Museo Novecento).
The twentieth century was a period that saw Florence as one of the most flourishing centers of the world. In the museum, all the paintings, sculptures and video documents highlight an unrepeatable period from the artistic point of view. The museum houses 300 works in 15 modern exhibition rooms respecting the old Renaissance complex of Michelozzo, a Medici architect.
Journey back from the most recent works up to those of the early '900 and unbelievably the atmosphere has been recreated so to as much interactive experience in any context in which the works were born: music, cinema and literature. Some prominent names to the museum: Giorgio De Chirico, Giorgio Morandi, Emilio Vedova, Guttuso and Maurizio Nannucci.
