The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Tehran

Arrive in Tehran and transfer to the hotel.

Day 02

Tajrish Exploration and Hike to Shirpala

Take a half-day tour around the Tajrish area to see the famous Tajrish Bazaar and Imamzade Saleh Mosque with your Damavand tour guide.
Begin the ascent to Shirpala Shelter at an altitude of 2750 m, which takes about 3 hours of hiking.

Overnight in the shelter.

Day 03

Tochal Peak Ascent and Transfer to Reyneh

Head towards Tochal Peak (3960 m) with your Damavand tour guide. It takes about 5 hours to reach the summit.
Afterwards, descend the mountain by tele-cabin.
Transfer from Velenjak to Reyneh, a drive of about 3 hours.

Overnight in a local house.

Day 04

Goosfand-Sara to the Third Shelter

Transfer to Goosfand-Sara (3000 m) by car and hike for 4 to 5 hours to reach the Third Shelter, located at an altitude of 4150 m.

Overnight in the shelter.

Day 05

Final Ascent to Damavand Peak

Start the final ascent towards Damavand Peak (5609 m). It takes about 6 hours to reach the summit and then 4 hours to return to the shelter.

Day 06

Descent and Return to Tehran

Descend to Goosfand-Sara, return to Reyneh, and then continue to Tehran.

Day 07

Departure from Tehran

Transfer to Imam Khomeini Airport to end this journey.
