Itinerary

Day 1: Tehran - Arrival (IKIA)
- Visit the Crown Jewels (Treasury of National Jewels) Museum, if you are arriving between Saturday and Tuesday.
- Transfer to the hotel.
Stay overnight in Tehran.
Day 2: Tehran Sightseeing
- Sightsee Tehran, including the Archaeological Museum, the Golestan Palace and the Grand Bazaar.
Stay overnight in Tehran.
Day 3: Tehran - Kashan Sightseeing – Isfahan
- Visit the Fin Garden and the historical houses of Borujerdi and Tabātabāei in Kashan
- Transfer to Isfahan.

Day 4: Isfahan
- Explore the Naghsh-e Jahaan (Imam) Square which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Sheikh Lotf-ol-lah and Imam Mosques and the Ali Qapu Palace (lofty gate).

Day 5: Isfahan
- Continue sightseeing in Isfahan as you go to the Jame Mosque.
- Walk around the historical bridges of Si-o-Se Pol (Bridge of 33 Arches) & Khaju.
- See the Chehel Sotoon Palace.

Day 6: Isfahan - Meybod- Yazd
- Drive to Yazd.
- En route, visit major highlights of Meybod city including that of Caravanserai, a traditional refrigerator, the Pigeon Tower and the Narin Castle.

Day 7: Yazd
- Visit the Amir Chakhmagh Complex, Fahaadan old neighbourhood, Aleksandra Prison and the tallest wind tower at Dolat Abaad Garden in Yazd.

Day 8: Yazd - Pasargadae - Shiraz
- Visit the famous site of Pasargadae (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
- Drive to Shiraz for overnight stay.
Day 9: Shiraz
- Explore the city Shiraz and see the Eram Gardens, Vakil Complex (mosque, Hamam or public Bath, bazaars) and the tombs of two famous Iranian poets - Hafez and Saadi.
Stay overnight in Shiraz.
Day 10: Shiraz - End of the tour
- Visit the site of Persepolis (UNESCO World Heritage Site), see Naghsh-e Rostam and Naghsh-e Rajab.
- Drive to Shiraz and transfer to the International Airport to take the return homebound flight.

Iran has 1648000 square kilometers of vast land. Iran is located in the south-west of Asia and its neighbors are Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Armenia in north, Afghanistan and Pakistan in east and Turkey and Iraq in the west. The south of Iran boundary is surrounded by the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea. Its capital is Tehran, the largest city. The geography of Iran contains mountains, rivers as well as plain land that dominated by the Alborz Mountains to the north, and the Zagros Mountains to the west. The center of Iran consists of several closed basins that collectively are referred to as the Central Plateau. The eastern part of the plateau is covered by two salt deserts, the Dasht-e Kavir and the Dasht-e Lut. Except for some scattered oases, these deserts are uninhabited.

Iran has a variable climate. In the northwest, winters are cold with heavy snowfall and subfreezing temperatures during December and January. Spring and fall are relatively mild, while summers are dry and hot. In the south, winters are mild and the summers are very hot, having average daily temperatures in July exceeding 38° C. On the Khuzestan plain, the summer heat is accompanied by high humidity.

The longest river and the only navigable waterway in Iran is called Karun. It flows out of the central Zagros range, traverses the Khuzestan plain, and joins the Shatt al-Arab before the latter discharges into the Persian Gulf. There is a permanent salt lake, Lake Urmia (the traditional name, also cited as Lake Urmiyeh, to which it has reverted after being called Lake Rezaiyeh under Mohammad Reza Shah), in the northwest, whose brine content is too high to support fish or most other forms of aquatic life. The most important islands of the Persian Gulf on the Iranian side are: Minoo, Kharg, Sheikh Saas, Sheikh Sho’ayb, Hendurabi, Kish, Farur, Sirri, Abu Mussa, the Greater and Lesser Tunb Qeshm, Hengam, Larak, Farsi, Hormuz, Lavan, The notable ports on the Persian Gulf coast are: Abadan, Khorramshahr, Bandar Imam Khomeini, Mahshahr, Deilam, Gonaveh, Rig, Bushehr, Bandar Lengeh, Bandar Abbas.

The official religion of the Iranian is Islam. The other religion that recognized in Iran includes Christians, Jews and Zoroastrians.
