Itinerary

1. Day 1- Arrival in Tehran

   • Arrive in Tehran (IKA Airport), meet your tour guide and transfer to the hotel.
   • Begin the tour by visiting the Reza Abbasi Museum, which displays objects belonging to a period from the 2nd millennium BC to the early 20th century.

   Enjoy a welcome dinner in a traditional restaurant with live Persian music.

2. Day 2- Tehran - Shiraz

   • Take a half-day excursion to the Golestan Palace.

   • Visit Iran National Museum, which houses astonishing historical objects dating from the 5th millennium B.C to the 7th century A.D.

   • Have lunch and stop to take photos at Azadi Tower (Tower of Freedom).

   • Go to Mehrabad Domestic airport to take a flight to Shiraz- the city of poets and literature.

   • Arrive in Shiraz and check in to the hotel.

   • Take a walk around the Quran Gate if you have time.

   Stay overnight in Shiraz.

3. Day 3- Shiraz

   • In the course of your tour, explore the below-mentioned places with our Shiraz Tour Guide:

     • The Pink Mosque

     • Eram Garden

     • Karim Khan Citadel (a residential – military palace of 18 century)

     • Valik Bazaar

     • Saraye Moshir

   • Have lunch and visit the Hafiz Tomb- one of the most outstanding Persian Poets.

   Stay overnight in Shiraz.

4. Day 4- Shiraz - Yazd

   • Drive to Yazd, the city in the heart of the desert. 

   • Visit two World Heritage Sites on the way to Yazd: Persepolis- the fabulous art of ancient Persia and Pasargadae- the first Capital of the Persian Empire with the tomb of Cyrus the Great.

   • See the Naghshe-e Rostam (Necropolis), the rock tomb of four Achaemenian Kings and Sassanid reliefs. 

   • Arrive in Yazd and check in to your hotel.

   • Take a short walk around Amir Chaqmaq Square, where the religious ceremonies have been happening since the Safavid dynasty period.

   Stay overnight in Yazd.

5. Day 5- Yazd

   • Visit the Fire temple of Zoroastrians and Tower of Silence.

   • Walk around the old area of the city and visit Yazd Jame mosque.

   • Wander through Fahadan district to feel the desert architecture and culture of Iran.

   • End your day tour at Zoor Khanh, a sports place with thousands of years of history.

6. Day 6- Yazd - Isfahan

   • Visit the Dowlat Abad Garden and wind tower.

   • Drive to Isfahan and visit the City of Meybod on the way to see a Caravansary with 400 years of history, Pigeon Tower and Mud-brick ice house. 

   • Proceed to the City of Naein to see the old Jame Mosque. 

   • Arrive in Isfahan and walk around Sio Sepol Bridge (33-Bridge) over Zayandeh Rood River in the evening before retiring to your hotel in Isfahan.

7. Day 7- Isfahan

   • In the course of your tour, you will tour the following places with our Isfahan tour guide-
     • Khaju and Shahrestan bridges
     • Chehel Sotun Palace- the reception palace of the Safavid dynasty
     • Naghsh-e-Jahan (Imam) Square- the second biggest square throughout the world
     • The Pavilion of Ali'Qapu
     • The palace of Safavid Kings
     • Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque
     • Abbasi Jame Mosque
     • Traditional Bazaars

   Stay overnight at Isfahan.

8. Day 8- Isfahan - Kashan

   • Visit Isfahan Jameh Mosque, which is a world heritage site with astonishing brick-work.

   • Drive to Kashan and explore Abyaneh on the way. It is a brilliant red-hued village.

9. Day 9- Kashan- Tehran

   • Have breakfast and visit the Fin Garden, a UNESCO world heritage site.

   • Experience the beauty of the Desert architecture of Iran by visiting Borujerdi and Tabatabaei Traditional houses.

   • Drive to the IKA airport for departure flight.
