Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Amritsar and Wagah Border Visit

   • 07:20 Hrs: Board the Shatabdi Express from New Delhi Railway Station. Enjoy tea and breakfast on board.
   • 13:25 Hrs: Arrive at Amritsar Railway Station. Meet and greet by the representative. Transfer to the hotel for check-in.
   • Evening: Visit the Wagah Border to witness the famous 'Retreat' ceremony during sunset. The flag-lowering ceremony at the India-Pakistan border is a popular tourist attraction.
   • Return to Hotel: After the Wagah Border visit, head back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

2. Day 2: Amritsar City Tour and Return Journey

   • Morning: After breakfast, start the city tour with a visit to Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple), the holiest shrine of the Sikh religion. Explore the spiritual significance of the temple, the Sarovar (holy tank), and the teachings of Sikhism.
   • Mid-Morning: Visit Jallianwala Bagh, a memorial to the innocent lives lost during the massacre on 13 April 1919, when British General Dyer ordered fire on unarmed civilians.
   • Lunch: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
   • Afternoon: Visit the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum located at the summer palace of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The museum showcases historical artifacts related to the ruler, including weapons, paintings, coins, and manuscripts.
   • Evening: Drop-off at Amritsar Railway Station. Board the Shatabdi Express to Delhi at 17:00 Hrs.
   • 22:50 Hrs: Arrive in Delhi. A driver will pick you up and drop you at your location with Kamal Aviation Tour.
