Itinerary

1. Day 1: Alapphuza

   • Check-in at Alapphuza by Noon.
   • Start cruising through the legendary Punnamada Lake, the venue for the famous Nehru Trophy Snake Boat Race.
   • Enter the enchanting water of the Vembanad Lake, enjoying the panoramic views and the glimpses of life along the banks.
   • Stop by the Pathiramanal island and visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Stay for the night at Kumarakom.

2. Day 2: Kumarakom & Munnatumugham

   • Start with Chavara Bhavan, the old wooden house where the blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara was born.
   • Visit the historical 400-year-old Champakulam Church.
   • Grab the opportunity to go on a 110 ft Snake boat. Stay for the night at Munnatumugham.

3. Day 3: Thottapally

   • Observe the ancient Buddhist images of the Karumadikuttan.
   • At Karumadi Memorial, recall the celebrated Malayalam poet Kumaran Asan, who drowned in a boat accident.
   • Visit Ambalapuzha Sree Krishna Temple, with a beautiful idol of Shri Krishna residing there.
   • Walk on the Thottappally Beach and see the village life. Anchor down at Thottapally.

4. Day 4: Return to Alapphuza

   • After breakfast, cruise through narrow canals and reach the mainland for checkout at Alleppey at 9:30 am.
