Attend Dev Deepawali, a famous Utsav celebrated in the holy city of Varanasi which takes place 15 days after the Hindu festival, Diwali. Walk towards Old Kashi to see the Ganga Aarti (ritual) and light diyas and candles at Meer and Ahilyabai ghats.

Sightseeing in Varanasi
You will be picked up from your hotel at 02:30 pm. Start walking towards the old Kashi.
Visit Dashashwamedh ghat for the Gaint Ganga Aarti on Dev Deepawali Event, a famous Utsav celebrated at the holy city Varanasi. Also spelled, as Dev Diwali, it is celebrated to mark the victory of Lord Shiva over demon Tripurasur. Hence, Dev Deepawali Utsav is also known as Tripurotsav or Tripurari Purnima which is observed on the auspicious day of Kartik Purnima (festival). On Dev Deepawali, devotees take a holy dip in the Ganges on the auspicious day of Kartik Purnima and light earthen lamps or Diya(s) in the evening
Visit Meer ghat and Ahilyabai ghat to see lights and diyas.
After sightseeing for 6 hours, you will be dropped off at the hotel.
