Go for a trek starting from Ukhimath and passing through Deoria Tal, Chopta and Tungnath to reach the summit of Chandrashila for an amazing view of the Himalayas. Watch the mesmerising Himalayas from the height of 13,420 ft! Pass through the mesmerizing villages and thick forests and get closer to nature in this 7-day trek!
Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Rishikesh
Transfer by road from Delhi to Rishikesh (7 hours).

Day 2: Ukhimath
Transfer by road from Haridwar/Rishikesh to Ukhimath (7 hours).
Overnight guest house at Syalsaur or Ukhimath.

Day 3: Deoria Tal
Short drive to Sari village.
From here, trek to Deoria Tal (2387 m).
The short trek is largely uphill, through villages and forest. Deoria Tal is a beautiful lake amidst a thick forest. The reflection of Chaukhamba peaks in the lake is notable for photography enthusiasts.
Overnight Camp near the lake.

Day 4: Banagher
Trek from Deoria Tal to Banagher. The 4-5 hours walk would be through thick forest and would delight nature lovers. Banagher is a small clearing in the middle of the forest.
Overnight in Camp.

Day 5: Banagher to Chopta
Trek from Banagher to the higher meadows of Chopta. The trek would take us across Tikar Khal to reach the vast meadows of Chopta.
Overnight in Camp.

Day 6: Chandrashila
Trek from Chopta to Tungnath (3680 m) and further to Chandrashila summit (3950 m). Tungnath is famous for the highest Shiva Temple in the world.
Enjoy 270 degrees unobstructed view of the snow-clad Himalayas from the vantage point of Chandrashila. One can also see Golden-breasted eagles in this area.
Return to Chopta camp for overnight.

Day 7: Departure
Drive from Chopta to Haridwar/Rishikesh (8-9 hours) for your onwards journey.
