Itinerary

1. Departure from Delhi:

   The tour usually starts early in the morning with a departure from Delhi. You can take a train from Delhi to Agra, which takes around 2 hours to reach Agra.

2. Arrival in Agra:

   Upon arrival in Agra, you will be greeted by a local guide who will accompany you throughout the day. They will take you to your first destination, which is usually the Taj Mahal.

3. Taj Mahal:

   The Taj Mahal is one of the most famous and beautiful monuments in the world. It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. You will have the opportunity to explore the stunning architecture, learn about its history, and take memorable pictures.

4. Agra Fort:

   After visiting the Taj Mahal, the next stop is usually the Agra Fort. This magnificent fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site and offers a glimpse into the grandeur of the Mughal Empire. You can explore the various palaces, courtyards, and gardens within the fort complex.

5. Lunch:

   You will have a break for lunch at a local restaurant in Agra, where you can enjoy delicious Mughlai cuisine.

6. Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb (optional):

   Depending on the time available and your preferences, you may also visit Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb, also known as the Baby Taj. This tomb is often described as a draft of the Taj Mahal and features intricate marble work.

7. Shopping:

   In Agra you can explore embroidery work, leather goods, marble inlay work. You will have some time to explore local markets and shops, where you can purchase souvenirs or gifts.

8. Return to Delhi:

   You will return to the Agra railway station in the late afternoon or evening to catch your train back to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you can either go to your accommodation or continue your journey.
