Start from Ahmedabad and explore its diverse attractions such as historical monuments in Patan and Ahmedabad, world-famous architecture in Modhera and Bhuj, temples of Somnath, exotic wildlife in Sasangir and the desert of Great Rann of Kutch in this 12-day trip.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Ahmedabad
- Arrive at the airport in Ahmedabad, meeting with our representatives and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Ahmedabad
- After breakfast at the hotel, start with the visit to the old city and Jama Masjid.
- Continue to visit the Jain temple built by a merchant family and famous for its mind-blowing carving work.
- Next, visit the Sabarmati Ashram founded by Mahatma Gandhi, where you will be able to see some of the most important memories related to Mahatma Gandhi.

Day 3: Ahmedabad - Patan - Modhera– Dasada (200 km, 4 hrs approx.)
- Have breakfast and drive to Dasada.
- On the way, stop at the ancient capital Patan and visit the marvellous stepwell “Rani Ki Vav”.
- Later stop at Modhera to visit the Sun God Temple, which represents one of the greatest masterpieces of the Hindu architecture of the Solanki period (11th century).
Dinner and overnight in Dasada.

Day 4: Dasada - Bhuj (290 km, 6 hrs approx.)
- Take a morning safari to explore the Little Rann of Kutch, known for the Wild Ass Sanctuary and its different flora and fauna. The region is rich in animals including antelopes, gazelles, desert foxes, pelicans, flamingos, cranes and storks. You may explore a few villages of Rabari tribe in this area.
- Transfer and arrival in Bhuj. Visit the magnificent Aina Mahal palace, which despite being been severely damaged by the earthquake of 2001 retains elaborate mirror decorations and at the Kutch Museum, which houses an interesting one ethnological collection.
- Stop at the Temple of Swaminarayan, the very first temple of Swaminarayan sect built in Gujarat.

Day 5: Bhuj - Excursion to Tribal Villages and Great Rann of Kutch
- Have breakfast and proceed for a day dedicated to excursions in Great Rann of Kutch, one of the largest salty white deserts in the world known for its biodiversity.
- Visit the tribal villages of Hodka, Ludhia, Bhirandiara, Dhordo and Kavda, which offer the possibility to admire the Jat, Rabari, Harijan tribes, Maldharis and Lohars and their typical handicraft products. An experience to live in contact with local populations still strongly isolated and linked to their traditions.

Day 6: Bhuj - Rajkot (240 km, 4 hrs approx.)
- Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Rajkot.
- On the way, stop to see the block painting work on textiles in Dhamadka village.
- In the afternoon, visit the Gondal Palace and Swaminarayan Temple.
Dinner and overnight in Rajkot.

Day 7: Rajkot - Junagadh - Sasan Gir (160 km, 4 hrs approx.)
- Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Junagadh.
- Visit the fort and the beautiful and still abandoned Mausoleum of Mahabat Khan.
- Arrive in Sasan Gir and check-in at the hotel.
- Afternoon, walking tour in the Siddhi village, inhabited by tribes of African origin.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Sasan Gir.

Sasan Gir - Somnath - Diu (150 km, 3 hrs approx.)
- Enjoy a morning safari in the Gir National Park, which hosts the scarce species of the Asiatic lion.
- Have breakfast at the hotel and proceed to Somnath, one of the 12 most important temples of God Shiva.
- Visit Somnath temple and continue to Diu.
- Arrive and visit Diu Fort. Completed in 1541, it boasts two mighty walls and facing cannons in memory of the battles between the Sultan of Gujarat Bahadur Shah and the Portuguese.

Diu - Bhavnagar (200 km, 5 hrs approx.)
- Breakfast at the hotel and visit the lively fish market at Vanakbara fishermen’s village.
- Transfer to Bhavnagar. Arrival and check in to the hotel.

Day 10: Bhavnagar - Excursion to Palitana
- Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for a full day dedicated to the excursion to Palitana, where you will climb 4000 steps to visit one of the most important Jain pilgrimage centres with its eight hundred temples located on the sacred hill of Satrunjaya.
Dinner and overnight in Bhavnagar.

Day 11: Bhavnagar - Lothal - Champaner (200 km, 5-6 hrs approx.)
- Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Champaner.
- Stop along the way to visit Lothal, an archaeological site related to the Indus valley civilization.
- Continue to Champaner, the ancient capital of Gujarat, now declared as a world heritage monument by UNESCO. Check in to the hotel.
Dinner and overnight in Champaner.

Day 12: Champaner - Ahmedabad (200 km, 5-6 hrs approx.)
- Breakfast at the hotel and visit the nearby tribal villages of Rathwa and Dhanka tribes. They decorate their houses walls with tribal paintings and live inside the forests.
- Transfer to Ahmedabad. Arrive and have dinner.
- After dinner, transfer to the international airport.
