One can develop their skills, gain experience by working alongside skilled craft person and see how the prints are hand made with small wooden blocks.

Rajasthani Block Printing In Sanganeer
- Go a round of the factory and explain the different type of natural dyes are used in printing.
- See samples of hand block printed textile.
- Learn the Sanganeer printing process so that you can understand the technique before starting your own printing.
- See some live plants and bushes, parts of which are used in vegetable printing.
At the end of the workshop, you will learn:
- To see some of the plants and bushes, parts of which are used for printing & dyeing.
- How vegetable dyes work.
- How to do Sanganeer printing (using natural dyes).
- How to make colourfast naturally.
- To start your own hands-on printing experience, you may select a carved wooden block from the available blocks. You will be able to print one piece of a cotton scarf (provided in the program kit) under the supervision of the senior craft person. You will work on the Sanganeer printing technique.
