New And Old Delhi Sightseeing Tour
- At 09:00 Hrs, have breakfast at the hotel and meet your tour guide.
- Visit Jama Masjid, the biggest Mosque in India, built by the 5th emperor of the Mughal dynasty in 1658.
- Take a rickshaw ride to explore Old Delhi.
- Ride through the streets and bazaars of Old Delhi and experience traditional Indian lifestyles. Your ride will pass through Chandni Chowk market.
- Stop for photoshop in front of Red Fort.
- At 10:00 Hrs, visit Raj Ghat. Raj Ghat is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi in Delhi, India.
- At 11:00 Hrs, continue to visit India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhawan from outside. India Gate is a war memorial located astride the Rajpath, on the eastern edge of the “ceremonial axis” of New Delhi, formerly called Kingsway. Rashtrapati Bhavan is the official residence of the President of India, located at the western end of Rajpath.
- Head to Humayun's Tomb. Humayun’s Tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, India. It was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent. It was also the first structure to use red sandstone at such a scale.
- At 13:00 Hrs, relish a delicious lunch.
- At 14:00 Hrs, proceed to the Lotus Temple. Notable for its flowerlike shape, it has become a prominent attraction in the city. Like all Baháʼí Houses of Worship, the Lotus Temple is open to all, regardless of religion or any other qualification.
- At 16:00 Hrs, propel to visit Qutub Minar. The Qutub complex is the richest of the area that houses the iconic Qutub Minaret, Alai Darwaza, Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque, Iron Pillar, Tomb of Iltutmish, Ala-ud-din Khilji’s tomb and madrasa and Alai Minar. It is the tallest stone tower in India and the tallest minaret of bricks in the world.
- Return to your hotel in the evening.
