Explore the Freedom Associated Sites of Bengal
- Meet the tour guide at your hotel and start your day tour to Kolkata. Though it was the capital of the British Raj, Kolkata was also the cradle of many freedom fighters and revolutionaries. We will visit those places associated with the Indian Freedom movement. The stories and the site will give you goosebumps or might moisten your eyes. The meeting places, hideouts, the first place of the Swadeshi movement, the hall where our National anthem was first sung, and more to find out in this Azadi tour.
- Take a short walk to St. John's Church in Dalhousie Square. You will also visit the Writer's building, which was once the working office of servants of the East India Company. Today, it serves as an administrative office of the government.
- Head to the black hole site where the black hole tragedy happened. According to history, prisoners were kept locked overnight in a room and mostly died due to suffocation.
- See the other famous sites of the Town Hall, Shahid Minar, Albert Hall, and the Paramount and Favorite Cabin, which was the meeting place for revolutionaries and Bengal intellectuals.
- Learn about the active political organization of the Indian Association at the Bharat Sabha (Indian Association hall), and go to the Hyderi Manzil.
