Description

Itinerary

Day 1: Mumbai - Lonavala
- Morning pick-up from your hotel/residence in Mumbai city limits and then head to Lonavala on a scenic, 2.5 to 3-hour drive. You will be dropped off at your accommodation in Lonavala/ Khandala after which you will visit the following sites:
- Rajmachi Point: this viewpoint is located in the Rajmachi Fort that offers a splendid view of the valley.
- Kune Waterfalls: the 14th highest waterfall in India, you will be mesmerized by the contrast of blue and green here.
Return to your accommodation for the night.
- Morning pick-up from your hotel/residence in Mumbai city limits and then head to Lonavala on a scenic, 2.5 to 3-hour drive. You will be dropped off at your accommodation in Lonavala/ Khandala after which you will visit the following sites:

Day 2: Lonavala
- After a pick-up from your accommodation, visit the following sites with a stop for lunch at a local restaurant:
- Karla and Bhaja Caves: 22 rock-cut caves located on the ancient trade route running from the Arabian Sea to the Deccan Plateau
- Lohagad fort: located at 1033 meters, this fort is an important landmark of the region. It is also connected to the nearby Visapur Fort by a short mountain range.
Return to your accommodation for the night.
- After a pick-up from your accommodation, visit the following sites with a stop for lunch at a local restaurant:

Day 3: Lonavala - Mumbai
- On the last day, proceed to the following sites with your Lonavala tour guide with a stopover for lunch at a local restaurant:
- Lion's Point: this is the highest point that the twin hill stations Khandala and Lonavala share.
- Lonavala Lake: an artificial lake surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful sights; a serene, visual treat.
- Duke's Nose Point: a fun trekking adventure, the cliff has been named after the Duke of Wellington's supposedly pointed nose and offers beautiful views.
- Bhushi Dam: a masonry dam on the Indrayani river which attracts tourists from all over India.
Return to your accommodation within the Mumbai city limits.
- On the last day, proceed to the following sites with your Lonavala tour guide with a stopover for lunch at a local restaurant:
