Hola (Spanish for Hi)! My name is Gaurav Gupta.I'm a licensed, professional tourist guide since 2009 for the whole of North India. In India, you need a special license issued by local authorities and also by the central ministry to work as a tourist guide in different regions.I have got the license from the Ministry of Tourism of India to work as a tourist guide for the whole of North India.I graduated from Dr.B.R.Ambedkar University in Biology, but my passion has always been Indian culture and history, not only theoretically but also practically.I love to make new friends and get in touch with people and tell them about my culture and my country, INDIA, and also know about their culture and about their country to enhance my knowledge and being a guide is the easiest way to do this.So to accomplish this passion of mine and make my dream come true, I decided to pursue my career as a Tourist Guide. After much hard work, I qualified for the special license from the Ministry of Tourism of India to work as a tourist guide for the whole of North India.North India consists of the capital of India - Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttaranchal, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh. All these states combinedly form Northern India which has a diverse culture and includes the Hindu pilgrimage centers, the Buddhist pilgrimage centers, the Sikh Golden Temple, and the Muslim pilgrimage destination, as well as numerous world heritage sites like the Taj Mahal. So, North India had a bit for every religion, that is why we call it as cultural heritage of India. My spoken English is excellent and I am working hard to make my Spanish language excellent.Since 2010 I'm an active member of the Tourist Guide Association of Northern India. In my job, I love to transfer to my guest my love the history and the traditions of my country India so that they can feel it as a true Indian feels it.My motto is “Atithi Devo Bhava”, this is the spirit of the Indian Culture and it means that for us Guest is like God and we have to take care of his/her in any circumstance and give our best to make his/her journey memorable.Apart from that I also follow a motto which is ‘one lifetime, one meeting’ expressing the idea that each meeting between host and guests is a unique occasion, never to recur in the same way.I'm looking forward to meeting you in India, especially in Northern India.
