- Meet your tour guide at your hotel in Delhi at 6:30 AM and travel to Agra.
- Ride a tonga to the entrance of the Taj Mahal at 9:30 AM. Built in white marble by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century as a tribute to his deceased wife, Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal is known world-over for its spectacular beauty and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
At 12:00 PM, head to the Agra Fort, built by Emperor Akbar in 1566. Admire the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra as it stands on the banks of the river Yamuna. Then, explore the many medieval palaces of the fort, including several audience halls, the Diwan-i-Khaas and the Diwan-i-Aam.
