Day 1: Delhi to Amritsar & Wagah Border
Meet your tour guide at your hotel at 5:30 AM in Delhi and make your way to the railway station to board the Shatabdi Express to Amritsar.
Arrive in Amritsar at 1:05 PM and transfer to your hotel.
In the evening, visit the Wagah border to watch the Border Retreat Ceremony. The pageant of the beating of the retreat and the change of guard within handshaking distance of the Indian and Pakistani forces here makes the most charming of the spectacles as a daily evening drill.
Overnight stay in Amritsar.

Day 2: Golden Temple & Jallianwala Bagh
In the morning, make your way to the Golden Temple, the most sacred temple for Sikhs. It is a symbol of the magnificence and strength of the Sikh people all over the world. Understand how the construction of the temple is entwined with the history and ideology of Sikhism and observe the diversity in the thoughts of the Sikh faith.
- Visit the Jallianwala Bagh Martyrs’ Memorial, where the unjust firing by General Dyer on a peaceful crowd in 1919 caused the death of over a thousand people.
In the afternoon, transfer to the Amritsar railway station to board the train back to Delhi and return to your hotel or the airport.
