Itinerary

1. Delhi to Mathura

   • Get picked up from the hotel to begin your profound journey after meeting your guide. 
   • Stop by Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi, which is at a distance of 4 km from Mathura Junction Railway Station. The temple is the most important site for the followers of Lord Krishna and Hindus as a whole. Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi, also known as Katra Keshav Dev temple, is considered to be the actual birthplace of Lord Krishna. 
   • Move to a bigger temple in the area that was constructed to replace the old temple during the reign of Emperor Chandragupta Vikramaditya (4th century CE). The temple here can be divided into three parts - Garbhagriha (actual site of birth), Keshava Deva, and the Bhagavata Bhavan. 
   • Visit another temple dedicated to the Ashtabhuja Ma Yogmaya stands near the entrance of the sanctum sanctorum. The prison cell was gradually turned into the present beautiful temple. It shares a common wall with the mosque and devotees have to undergo a security check.
   • Admire the displayed artifacts (utensils, old statues, and a rock-based slab) in a museum near the main temple. Find several shrines dedicated to other Hindu gods in the temple premises as well. 
   • Witness the Janmashtami celebrations, which begin at midnight with the birth of Lord Krishna. Enjoy the festivities of Holi and Diwali as they are celebrated in the region with great pomp and fervor. The timings would be 5 AM- 12 PM and 3 PM - 8.30 PM.
   • Make your way to the Dwarkadheesh temple, where the devotees assemble during every festival. Other points of attraction are the Gita Mandir, Radha Kund, and more.

2. Mathura to Vrindavan to Delhi

   • Visit another town near Mathura, Vrindavan, and learn more about Lord Krishna’s childhood and love interests. 
   • See the Banke Bihari Temple, a very well-known shrine here. The temple to whom it is dedicated is believed to have been the great Krishna devotee. 
   • Make sure to visit the oldest temple in the area, Madan Mohan Temple. Another one of the beautifully designed temples in the area is the Sri Radha Raman Mandir temple. Don't miss out on other beautiful temples like the Prem Mandir, ISKCON temple, Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir, and more.
   • In the evening, you will return to the hotel.
