The itinerary

1
Day 01

Drive from Delhi to Haridwar and Attend Ganga Aarti

  • After breakfast, begin your drive to Haridwar. The city is largely visited by devotees of Lord Shiva and River Goddess Ganga, especially during the Magh Mela and the world-renowned Kumbh Mela.

  • On arrival, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and relax.

  • In the evening, visit Har-ki-Pauri, the famous ghat on the banks of the Ganga, and witness the spectacular Ganga Aarti - a sight you will remember for a lifetime.

Day 02

Journey to Joshimath via the Sacred Prayags

  • Pack breakfast, get on the road, and start driving to Joshimath/Jyotirmath.

  • On the way, halt at Devprayag, the holiest of all the Panch Prayags, situated at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers, known as Sangam. Then continue to Rudraprayag, the meeting point of River Alaknanda and River Mandakini. Also visit Karnprayag, the confluence of Rivers Alaknanda and Pindar.

  • Upon arrival in Joshimath, check in at the hotel. If time and energy permit, explore the surroundings and visit the gateway to Hem Kund and Badrinath.

Day 03

Travel to Auli and Ski on Himalayan Slopes

  • After breakfast, drive to Auli. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Auli is India's premier ski resort destination.

  • Enjoy skiing on the slopes of Auli with the assistance of the resort's instructors. The ski slopes offer a panoramic view of high Himalayan peaks, including Nanda Devi at 7,818 m.

  • Overnight stay at one of the resorts in Auli.

Day 04

Explore the Scenic Beauty of Auli

  • Visit Gurso Bugyal, a picturesque location from where you can enjoy magnificent views of Trishul Peak, Dron Parvat, and Nanda Devi.

  • Head to Chattrakund, a pristine lake known for its crystal-clear blue waters. It is also an ideal picnic spot for those who love nature and its silence.

  • Another important attraction to visit is Auli Artificial Lake, one of the highest man-made lakes in the world, surrounded by mighty Himalayan peaks.

Day 05

Visit Sacred Sites and Drive to Rishikesh

  • Visit the popular religious sites of the area, the Narsingh Temple and Shankaracharya Math.

  • Later in the day, hit the road to Rishikesh - the yoga capital of the world and home to several ashrams. On arrival, check in to the hotel.

  • If time and energy permit, you can explore the surroundings on your own. Rishikesh is just 24 km from Haridwar. The place is known not only for its ashrams, yoga, and meditation opportunities, but also as a popular destination for river rafting.

Day 06

Return to Delhi

  • Bid goodbye and head back to Delhi.
