Explore the charming Guwahati city that is known for its holy sites, located along the Brahmaputra River. Head out for a wildlife adventure in Kaziranga National Park. It is a protected area spread across the floodplains of the Brahmaputra. Admire Majuli, the abode of the Assamese neo-Vaishnavite culture and home to the Mishings, Deoris and Sonowal Kacharis tribal communities.

Day 1: Tour around Guwahati
Arrive at Guwahati airport, get assistance and transfer to hotel for check-in.
Go for a city tour and visit later:
Kamakhya Temple - One of the most venerated Shakti shrines in India, and is regarded as one of the Shakti Peethams associated with the legend of Shiva and Daksha Yagna.
Navagraha Temple - Dedicated to the nine planets in the solar system is a center of astrological and astronomical research.
Umananda Island - The smallest river island in the world, here man and the wilderness co-habit in peace and serenity.
Umananda Temple - A Shiva Temple built in 1594, by the Ahom King of Assam.
Enjoy a magnificent sunset over the majestic Brahmaputra River on a cruise.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Guwahati to Kaziranga National Park
Have breakfast at the hotel and sightsee in Guwahati if not done on the previous day.
Drive to Kaziranga National Park (200km/4hr approx) and check-in at the resort.
Rest and relax for the day at the resort.
Overnight at the resort.

Day 3: Safari in Kaziranga National Park
Explore the central range of Kaziranga National Park early in the morning on an elephant safari with your tour guide.
Head to the eastern range on a jeep safari once
Return for lunch and proceed to Western Range of Kaziranga National Park on jeep.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight in the resort.

Day 4: Kaziranga to Majuli
Have breakfast at the resort followed by a morning safari in Kaziranga National park.
Drive to Majuli post-lunch till Nimathi-Ghat, to connect to a local ferry to cross the mighty Brahmaputra river with co-passengers on board! The ferry ride will a little more than one hour or so, depending on the current of the water.
After reaching Kamalabari Ghat, continue driving for 8 km to your lodge for about half an hour!
Explore the local village of the Mishing tribe nearby, meet locals, have tea or local rice beer at their place.
Visit and interact with the local mask-maker.
Head to Kamalabari Satra Mask making center and Auni Ati Satra by bicycle.
Dinner and overnight at guest house/ homestay.

Day 5: Majuli to Jorhat and Flight homewards
Transfer to Kamalabari ghat after breakfast to connect your ferry to reach to Jorhat. From Jorhat, board a flight for your onward destination.
