Day 1: Chennai - Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry
- After getting picked up from your accommodation in Chennai, proceed to drive towards Pondicherry with a stopover at Mahabalipuram.
- On reaching Pondicherry, tour the following sites:
- Aravind Ashram: the flourishing ashram of a spiritual community of Shri Aurobindo's disciples that started out with just 12 people.
- Manakulavinayakar: a popular pilgrimage site located in the heart of Pondicherry; built in honour of the Lord Ganesha.

Day 2: Pondicherry - Chidambaram - Kumbakonam
- After breakfast, set out from Pondicherry towards Kumbakonam, driving along a scenic route.
- On reaching Kumbakonam, visit the Navagraha temple. This is, in actuality, a set of nine temples, each dedicated to a different planetary deity. The presiding deity in most of these temples is Lord Shiva. After the tour, check-in to your hotel.

Day 3: Kumbakonam
- This day, visit some of the other temples in Kumbakonam with your tour guide and driver, as time permits.

Day 4: Kumbakonam - Tanjore - Trichy
- After breakfast, check-out from Kumbakonam and head to Trichy with a stopover at Tanjore, now known as Thanjavur, which is an important centre of art, culture, and heritage in South India.
- On reaching Trichy, a place considered to be the perfect blend of tradition and modernity, check-in at your hotel.

Day 5: Trichy - Srirangam - Madurai
- Drive from Trichy to Srirangam, a beautiful river island bounded by the Kaveri Lake.
- Then, proceed to Madurai where you will have a sightseeing tour in the evening. Recognised as the cultural capital of Tamil Nadu, Madurai is an ancient city located on the Vaigai River. The Meenakshi Amman Temple with its 14, colourful gopurams (gateway towers), is a sight to behold.
