Itinerary

1. Sightseeing tour of Agra

   • Pick-Up from Delhi (5:00 AM to 6:00 AM):

     • The day starts early with a pick-up from your hotel or designated location in Delhi. You will travel to Agra by a private air-conditioned car, with the journey typically taking around 3 to 4 hours, depending on traffic.

   • Arrival in Agra (9:00 AM to 10:00 AM):

     • Upon reaching Agra, you will meet your local guide (if included), who will help you explore the city's historical sites.

   • Visit the Taj Mahal (10:30 AM - 12:00 PM):

     • The first and most important stop is the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. 

     • You will have a guided tour of this magnificent marble mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.

     • You'll have time to explore the beautiful gardens and take photos of the monument from various angles.

   • Visit Agra Fort (12:15 PM - 1:30 PM):

     • After the Taj Mahal, head to Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This historic fort complex is an excellent example of Mughal architecture, and you will learn about its history and the role it played in the Mughal empire.

   • Lunch (1:30 PM - 2:30 PM):

     • Enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant. Most tours include a buffet-style meal with options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.

   • Visit Mehtab Bagh (Optional) (3:00 PM - 3:30 PM):

     • After lunch, some tours include a visit to Mehtab Bagh, a garden located across the Yamuna River with a stunning view of the Taj Mahal. It’s an excellent spot for photography.

   • Departure for Delhi (4:00 PM):

     • After the sightseeing, you’ll begin the drive back to Delhi. Depending on traffic, the return journey will take about 3 to 4 hours.

   • Arrival in Delhi (7:00 PM - 8:00 PM):

     • You will be dropped back at your hotel or original pick-up point in Delhi, completing your same-day Agra tour.
