- Walk around the city for sightseeing, starting with Gandhi Smriti. This place was earlier Mahatma Gandhi`s House, where he spent 144 days of his life. The Indian Independence movements were led by Mahatama Gandhi. Mahatama Gandhi holds great significance historically as well as socially. Gandhiji sacrificed his life for the unity of India.
- Move towards India Gate, a 138-feet tall war memorial constructed in the memory of Indian Martyrs in the heart of New Delhi by Duke Connaught. British famous architect Sir Edwin Lutyens laid down its foundation stone in 1931. Here you will get to see the eternal flame (Amar Jawan Jyoti). 13,000 soldiers’ names are scripted around the structure, and these soldiers fought in World War I & the Anglo-Afghan war.
- See the Parliament House and the President Palace. President Palace is the most impeccable building located at Raisina Hills in Lutyens' Delhi. The palace has a splendid history since it was a political center in British India, and it continued in post-independence.
- Visit Humayun's Tomb, a great combination of Persian and Indian craftsmanship, surrounded by the four-sided garden, was built in 1560 AD. This iconic monument is a great symbol of Mughal and Persian architecture like the Taj Mahal, which portrays diversity and perfection.
- Proceed to the Lotus Temple. This monument is made in the shape of a flowering lotus and is the best example of India’s modern architecture. Its stunning architecture and ambience offer the visitors a perfect place for mediation since the Lotus Temple is part of the Bahai religion.
- Enjoy sightseeing at the Qutub Minar. Qutub Minar is the most tranquil historical monument of Delhi and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993.
