Sightseeing in Jaipur
- Meet your tour guide at a predecided location in Delhi.
- Drive to Jaipur, India’s pink city, a name was given to the town due to the pink and red colours of its beautiful buildings.
- Visit the City Palace, which is the residence of the Royal family of Jaipur. It has a museum dedicated to Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II and is still a patron of art, culture and heritage of India.
- Move towards the Jantar Mantar, the observatory known for its astronomical and mathematical astuteness. It is now a UNESCO World Heritage site, it features the world largest sundial and allows naked eye to witness astronomical positions.
- Click pictures at the Hawa Mahal, a structure built for the then royal ladies.
- See the Jal Mahal, which translates into "Water Palace" and owing to its name. It stands amidst the freshwater Man Sagar lake, built by the then Maharaja (King) Jai Singh II, this palace is a unique example of Rajputana architecture and beauty.
Enjoy sightseeing at the Amber Fort. The word amber is derived from a mango tree, and also it is the name of one of the local Goddess.
Gear up for a four to five-hour ride back to Delhi, where the guide will drop you off at your hotel, railway station, or airport.
