Itinerary

1. Day 1: Cochin

   • Meet your tour guide on arrival, check-in at the hotel, and after freshening up, proceed to the following places:

     • Fort Cochin and Jewish Synagogue (built-in 1568 AD. Closed on Saturdays & Jewish Holidays)

     • Dutch Palace (built-in 1557 AD Closed on Friday & National Holidays)

     • St. Francis' Church (built by the Portuguese in 1503 AD)

     • Santa Cruz Cathedral and Maritime Museum- INS Dronacharya Fort Kochi (Monday Closed)

     • Chinese Fishing Nets (The Chinese Fishing Nets that line the sea-front and exhibit a method of catching fish, introduced by Chinese traders)

   Overnight stay in Cochin.

2. Day 2: Cochin - Munnar

   • Proceed to Munnar (135 km/04 hrs drive) - a pleasant journey riding through the picturesque hills jacketed in greenish tea and spice plantations. The cab will stop in many of the places on the way to enjoy the beauty of nature, waterfalls, and sceneries.

   • Check in at the hotel and spend the day relaxing after the long trip.

   Overnight stay in Munnar.

3. Day 3: Munnar

   • After breakfast, proceed to the following places for sightseeing in Munnar:

     • Eravikulam National Park at Rajamala (here you can see the Nilgiri Thar)

     • Echo Point

     • Mattupetty Lake and Dam

     • Tea Plantations and TATA Tea processing Factory

     • Kundale Lake

     • Anayirankal Dam

     • Gap Point, etc.

   Overnight stay in Munnar.

4. Day 4: Munnar - Thekkady

   • After breakfast, drive to Thekkady (110 kms/03 hrs drive)- a scenic drive from Munnar. 

   • On arrival, check-in at the hotel and after freshening up visit the following:

     • Spice market and spice plantations, where you can see Pepper, Cardamom, Vanilla, Cinnamon and other spices are grown.

   • Visit the following attractions for supplementary charges (Optional):

     • Boating at Periyar Lake and Bullock cart ride

     • Bamboo Rafting and Trekking

     • Elephant safari and Spice Plantation Tour

     • Border Hiking and Tribal Village Visit

     • Cloud Walk and Periyar Tiger Trail

     • Kalari Payattu (A traditional Martial Art)

     • Kathakali Show (A traditional performance Art)

     • Jungle Jeep Safari and Ayurvedic Massages, etc.

   Overnight stay in Thekkady.

5. Day 5: Thekkady - Allappey

   • After an early breakfast, proceed to Alleppey, also known as The Venice of the East (165 Kms/4.00 hrs drive) 

   • On arrival, check-in at Houseboat Cruise Alleppey (a luxury boat made in ethnic Kerala style having a well-appointed sitting room, bedrooms, toilet, & kitchen), where you can enjoy the tranquil beauty of the inland waters and the countryside for one day.

   • Enjoy a houseboat cruise at ALLEPPEY through the following:

     • Narrow canals and Pathiramanal Island

     • Virgin village and paddy fields

     • historical places and Temples

     • Churches and Snake boat

     • Coconut beer shop (Toddy shop) and Kuttanad Village, etc.

   • Enjoy spectacular lush green paddy fields, where you may see the lifestyle of village people and their activities like Coir roping, Toddy tapping etc.

   • Enjoy meals served in typical Kerala cuisine like Welcome drink: Tender Coconut

     • Lunch: Boiled Basmati Rice, vegetables, fish fry or curry, salads, Pappad.

     • Evening: Tea or coffee with snacks & Banana Fry.

     • Candle Light Dinner: Rice, Chapati, Dal Curry, Vegetable Curry, and Chicken Curry.

     • Breakfast: Bread with butter, jam & eggs, or Kerala style Breakfast (Idly or Dosa).

   • All meals will be provided in the House Boat. Any changes required will have to be intimated in advance. Pure Vegetarian dishes, Dishes with Less Spicy for European Guest, North Indian Recipes etc., are also known to our Chef. Guests can also buy fresh Prawn, Crab, or any fresh fish during their cruise from fishermen (fresh catch), and our Chef will prepare it for the guest according to their taste without any additional charge.

   Overnight stay at Houseboat.

6. Day 6: Allappey - Cochin

   • After breakfast, departure with memories and photographs for the Cochin International Airport/Railway Station.
