Day 1: Arrival - NJP Railway Station / Airport Transfer Darjeeling
As you arrive at New Jalpaiguri railway station (Siliguri) or Bagdogra Airport (Siliguri), the representative will wait for you to transfer you to Darjeeling via Mirik. It takes about one and half hours by car up to Mirik and another two and half hours to Darjeeling. So with a break in between, it will take about 4.5 hours to reach Darjeeling by this route from Bagdogra airport or NJP station.
Going to Darjeeling via Mirik road is also an excellent option for travellers. The road trip takes you through the tea gardens and fog engulfed mountains, Mirik Lake and tall pine trees. Why should you take this route, unlike the traditional route, which is shorter? This may be your obvious question. But we need to tell you that if you have one whole day in your hand, going to Darjeeling via Mirik is worth exploring.

Day 2: Darjeeling Queen’s of Hill - Full Day Sightseeing
Although Darjeeling town is small, the district of Darjeeling spans more than 1,200 square miles of the area. It includes majestic mountains & valleys, beautiful tea gardens, lakes, waterfalls, forests, villages and more. Take lovely scenic drives to some amazing places where you can spend the day
Early morning (3 points: 4 am to 7 am) do a sightseeing tour by visiting Tiger Hills and enjoy the view of the beautiful sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject if clear weather).
On your way back to the hotel, visit Batasia Loop & Ghoom Monastery.
(7 Points: Time- 9:30am to 2:30pm.) After breakfast, begin a Darjeeling city full day sightseeing tour by visiting Padmaja Naidu Himalaya Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Happy Valley Tea Estate, Tenzing or Gonbu Rock Climb, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help-Centre (Closed on Sunday), Beautiful Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda & City Ropeway.
Halt for the night at Darjeeling and for other activities like visiting the local town, enjoying shopping at the mall and evening walk free at Chowrasta Chuk bazaar Darjeeling.

Day 3: Darjeeling To Gangtok Via Namchi
After breakfast, drive to Namchi for a full day.
Find Temi Tea, Samdruptse and Siddhesvar Dham - a miniature replica of the Indian Char Dhams located in the country, i.e. Jagannath Dham in East, Dwarika Dham in West, Badrinath Dham in North and Rameshwaram in South. It also has a 108 ft. statue of Lord Shiva enclosed by the 12 'Lingas', a temple of Shirdi Sai Baba and an effigy of Lord Kirateshwara. It gives a feeling of complete mental peace & satisfaction.
After sightseeing in Namchi, transfer to Gangtok.
Overnight stay at Gangtok

Day 4: Gangtok – Lachung (118 kms/6 hrs)
Meet and greet the local representative after you arrive in Gangtok.
Take some refreshment and drive to Lachung by surface in a comfortable vehicle.
En route, check seven sister waterfalls, Singhik viewpoint and Naga waterfall.
Reach Lachung by evening.
Check in at the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay in Lachung.

Day 5: Lachung – Yumthang Valley Excursion (21 kms each side) – Gangtok (118 kms/6 hrs)
After breakfast, get ready for your much-awaited journey to Yumthang Valley, known as the valley of flowers. This ultimate journey to Yumthang valley is beautiful and takes you to a different world with ice spilling on roads.
On the way back, visit the Rhododendron flower sanctuary and hot springs.
Come back to the hotel and leave for Gangtok.
If you wish, visit Yumesamdong, called Zero point, at the height of 15300ft. 25km from Yumthang Valley, Zero Point is an India-Tebet Autonomous Border; it’s an angelic valley renowned for its scenic beauty in Sikkim. Pay to driver 2500-3000/- extra payment for this spot.

Day 6: Excursion to Changu Lake & Baba Mandir
After breakfast, start an excursion to Changu Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.), 55 km from Gangtok city. This serene lake is situated at 12,000 ft on the Gangtok Nathu La highway. The lake is oval, 15 meters deep and is considered sacred by the local people. It is also a home of brahminy ducks. Its cool, placid water harmonizes with the scenic beauty around. This quiet lake remains frozen during the winter months up to mid-May.
After 4:30 pm, return to Gangtok.
In the evening, free to roam around MG Road (Mall) and do local shopping at Gangtok.

Day 7: Gangtok to NJP or airport transfer/5 hours of travel
After breakfast, transfer to Bagdogra airport/New Jalpaiguri railway station with a minimum of 4 hours driving distance.
If you have an evening train, you can enjoy rafting on the way at the Teesta River.
End the tour at this point and board with sweet memories of Northeast.
