1. Same Day Taj Mahal by Car

   • 9:00 Hrs: Taj Mahal sightseeing. Upon your arrival in Agra city, our live guide will meet you and brief you about all the destinations in the city. The first one to explore is the Taj Mahal. It was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the fond memory of his dear wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Cruising past the arched entry, you will see the fascinating view of the Taj Mahal with its dissimilar shades of yellow and orange when the sun rays kiss the pure white marble and produce a charismatic impression. You simply get zapped by its supreme beauty. Stroll around the heritage site and sprawling lawns with fountains in the middle, enhancing the idiosyncratic beauty of the whole setting.

   Note: Taj Mahal remains closed on Friday.

   • 11:30 Hrs: After a visit to the Taj Mahal, head to Agra Fort. At 11:30, proceed to Agra Fort, which the Mughal Emperor Akbar constructed in 1565 A.D. The famous Agra Fort is constructed on an enormous 2.5-kilometre area on the bank of the River Yamuna. Shah Jahan was imprisoned in the Agra Fort by Aurangzeb, his son, and from here, Shah Jahan used to admire the beauty of the Taj, which he constructed for his wife.
   • 13:00 Hrs: Lunch Break. After you visit the famous Agra Fort, you will be taken to a popular air-conditioned restaurant in Agra. Here, you will be served authentic Mughlai cuisine cooked by the trained chefs who acquired these skills from their forefathers.
   • 14:00 Hrs: Visit Itmad-Ud-Daulah (Baby Taj). At about 14:00 hours, you can visit Itmad-Ud-Daulah (Baby Taj). It is an optional site; you can skip it if you are short of time.
   • 15:00 Hrs: Drive Back to Delhi. After visiting the most significant destinations of Agra, proceed back to the capital city of India, Delhi. Your Delhi Agra tour package ends with several treasured memories that will stay with you all your life.
