Visit important pilgrimage sites from the major locations of J&K, ride a Shikara boat on the world-famous Dal Lake and marvel at Shankaracharya Temple and Pari Mahal along with several beautiful gardens in Srinagar.
Itinerary

Day 1: Local sightseeing at Srinagar
Pick up from Srinagar airport and proceed to houseboat.
Go for local sightseeing around the region, starting with a visit to Mughal Gardens.
Next, visit Shankaracharya Temple (built on top of a mountain overlooking Dal Lake).
Visit Pari Mahal (Palace of Fairies), Cheshma Shahi (Mughal Spring), and Nishat Garden - known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in the 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan.
Then, visit Shalimar Garden - known as ‘Garden of love’ built in the 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jehangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehr-un-Nissa).
Enjoy Shikara ride on the world-famous Dal Lake, covering floating gardens, vegetable gardens, golden lake, and inner markets like Mena bazaar, canals etc.
Enjoy the scenic view of the Zabarwan mountains.

Day 2: Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar
After breakfast, leave for Gulmarg - "Meadow of Flowers", which was discovered by the Kashmiri romantic poet in the 16th century who was inspired by its grassy slopes covered with wildflowers.
In winter, Gulmarg looks more beautiful due to heavy snowfall and turns into India's premier Ski resort during that time. It also has one of the best ski slopes and the highest golf course with 18 holes.
Enjoy a gondola ride (at your own expense).
Evening free for leisure.

Day 3: Srinagar – Pahalgam – Srinagar
From Srinagar, proceed towards Pahalgam - "Valley of Shepherds".
En route, visit Awantipura ruins, saffron fields, and cricket bat factories.
Continue to drive towards Pahalgam, one of the most favoured shooting locations for the Indian Film Industry.
In Pahalgam, one can also visit Betaab Valley, situated 15 kilometres from Pahalgam. The valley got its name from the Sunny Deol-Amrita Singh hit debut film, 'Betaab'.
Pahalgam valley is surrounded by lush green meadows, snow-clad mountains, and covered with dense vegetation.
Explore Aru Valley, a small yet self-sufficient scenic village located 12 km from Pahalgam, or visit Chandanwari, situated at a distance of 16 km from Pahalgam, and the starting point of the religious yatra that takes place every year from July to August.
A local taxi has to be hired to visit all the beautiful places here (at own expense).
Return to the hotel after enjoying the day.

Day 4: Srinagar – Sonamarg– Srinagar
After breakfast, leave for Sonamarg for a day trip.
The name 'Sonamarg' is derived from two Kashmiri words - "Son" & "Marg", which mean "Gold" & "Meadow". When put together, it means "Meadow of Gold".
The drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg is very beautiful as one will pass through some towns and villages. At many places, visitors can enjoy the view of paddy fields, with rivers flowing on one side.
In Sonamarg, visit Thajwas Glacier, which is around 4 km from Sonamarg. A local taxi or pony ride has to be hired (at own expense).
Return to Srinagar in the evening after enjoying the day.

Day 5: Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Srinagar airport to catch the flight for onward destination, with some unforgettable memories of Kashmir.
