Itinerary

1. Day 1: Delhi to Agra

   • Departure from Delhi: The tour begins with an early morning or late afternoon pick-up from your hotel or a designated Delhi location. The drive to Agra takes about 3-4 hours via the Yamuna Expressway.
   • Arrival in Agra: Upon arrival in Agra, check in to your hotel.
   • Visit Agra Fort: Begin your Agra exploration with a visit to Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most impressive fortresses built by the Mughal emperors—Marvel at the intricate architecture, royal chambers, and expansive courtyards.
   • Itmad-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj): Proceed to the Itmad-ud-Daulah, often called the "Baby Taj," known for its elegant marble work and intricate inlay craftsmanship.
   • Local Market & Craftsmanship: If time allows, you can explore Agra’s vibrant markets, which are famous for handicrafts, marble inlay, and leather goods.
   • Sunset View of the Taj Mahal: Head to Mehtab Bagh, the garden complex opposite the Taj Mahal, to witness a breathtaking view of the Taj Mahal bathed in the glow of the setting sun.

2. Day 2: Taj Mahal Sunrise Visit & Return to Delhi

   • Sunrise at the Taj Mahal: Visit the Taj Mahal early in the morning to witness the monument in its serene glory at sunrise. Explore the mausoleum, take in the surrounding gardens, and learn about this masterpiece's history and architectural brilliance.
   • Breakfast & Check-out: After the visit, return to your hotel for breakfast and check out.
   • Explore Local Attractions: Depending on the time, you may visit other sites like the Tomb of Akbar in Sikandra or Marble Handicraft Workshops to see local artisans.
   • Drive Back to Delhi: After lunch, you will begin your return journey to Delhi, concluding your overnight Agra tour.
