Itinerary

1. Haifa (any address)/Haifa port

   • Pick-up from your location.

2. The German Colony

   • Visit a colony of German Templars, built in the 19th century with authentic houses, which has become the tourist center of Haifa. And don't forget to take a picture of the Baha'i Gardens!

3. The Baha'i Gardens

   • Visit the central terrace of the Baha'i Gardens in Haifa, walk along the path leading to the Shrine of Bab and visit inside.

4. The Baha'i Gardens

   • Take a look from the upper point of the Baha'i Gardens at Haifa and the whole surrounding area, at Haifa Bay and the mountains of Galilee.

5. Stella Maris Lighthouse and Carmelite Monastery

   • Visit the church of the Stella Maris Carmelite Monastery built, according to the Christian tradition, over Elija's Cave. See the Lighthouse building, the monument of Napoleon's Soldiers and the Column of Holy Virgin Mary. 

6. Knights' Halls

   • Expressive halls, towers, a crypt of St. Johne's church, a jail, a secret pass, streets around the fortress and even a medieval public toilet. The unique opportunity for watching a crusaders' daily life of 900 years ago.

7. Old City

   • Walk through the narrow streets of the Old City, past mosques, markets, and streets named after famous people who have visited here.

8. The Port of Acre

   • Once the most important port on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea, the capital of the Kingdom of Jerusalem for 99 years, and now a small harbour for yachts, fishermen, and tourist boats. Take a small cruise on a fishing boat along the massive city walls, listening to the sounds of local music. The cruise requires an additional fee.

9. Templars Tunnel

   • The large underground tunnel between the former Templars' Fortress and the port resembles a medieval subway.

10. The Old Acre Market

    • The colors of a traditional Mideastern market, where everything is for sale: spices, coffee, clothes, toys, sweets and especially fish. Try something there!

11. City Walls

    • Take a walk on the city walls of Acre and enjoy the stunning views of Haifa and Haifa Bay. You can see the port, the beaches, and the mountains in the distance. You might also see some teenagers jumping into the water from the walls.
