Itinerary

1. Day 1: Visit Jerusalem Old City

   • Meet and starting location: Jerusalem or Tel Aviv.

   • Jerusalem Old City walking tour includes visits to the Four Quarters; Church of Holy Sepulcher; Western Wall; and Temple Mount.

   Accommodation will be in Jerusalem. 

2. Day 2: Jerusalem - New City

   • Morning: Tour of Jerusalem - New city, historic neighbourhoods, and markets.

   • Post lunch: Arranged visit to Bethlehem or Jericho.

3. Day 3: Visit Masada and Dead Sea

   This day will include visits to the following attractions:

   • King Herod's desert fortress, Herodium is situated 758 meters (2,487 ft) above sea level, the highest peak in the Judaean Desert.

   • Ein Gedi springs, an oasis and a nature reserve in Israel, located west of the Dead Sea & Kibbutz which offers tourist attractions including a vast botanical garden.

   • Monasteries.

   • The Jordan River, a 251-kilometre-long river in the Middle East. 

   • Indulge in a Dead Sea float and a mud bath.

   Accommodation: Near the Dead Sea or somewhere south of it.

4. Day 4: Tour of the South

   • Meet Bedouin communities.

   • Hear ancient tales of the country.

   • Observe desert agriculture practices.

   • Enjoy magnificent desert views.

5. Day 5: Visit Jordan Valley

   • Explore Bet She'an

   • Explore Sea of Galilee sites.

   • View southern Golan Heights.

   Accommodation: North

6. Explore North

   • Explore Upper Galilee & Northern Golan.

   • View the majestic Mount Hermon, a mountain cluster constituting the southern end of the Anti-Lebanon mountain range.

   • Visit Dan kibbutz.

   • Explore Banias, an ancient site that developed around a spring once associated with the Greek god Pan located at the foot of Mount Hermon.

   • See Hula Lake, one of the world's top ten birdwatching sites.

7. Day 7: Explore Western Galilee

   • Explore Akko (Acre).

   • Visit Rosh Haniqra, the only point in the country where the sea meets the mountains.

   • Stroll through the beautiful Bahai garden.

   Accommodation: Western Galilee

8. Day 8: Explore Mediterranean Coastline

   • Explore Mediterranean coastline.

   • View highlights of Akko.

   • Explore the city of Haifa.

   • Visit the ancient city of Caesarea.
