Itinerary

1. Day 1: Berau Airport – Talisayan

   • Meet up at  Kalimarau Airport Berau.

   • Drive directly to Talisayan by car. (3 - 3.5 hours).

   • Lunch en-route.

   • Stopover in Lempake for 30 minutes to enjoy the natural hot spring water.

   • Continue driving to Talisayan.

   • Arrive in the afternoon. 

2. Day 2: Talisayan –Whale Shark – Labuan Cermin lake - Kaniungan Isl

   • Early morning at 05.00 am, take a fisherman boat to Whale Shark Point for around 30 minutes.

   • Watch whale sharks from that point, or go snorkelling and diving to get a better view.

   • Take a picture with the whale shark.

   • At 08.00 am, return to Talisayan.

   • Have breakfast at 09:00 am.

   • Check out from Aneka guest house, and continue driving to Labuan Cermin.

   • On the way, drive 2-3 hours arrive in small harbour then go by tuk-tuk boat to Labuan Cermin lake. (around 10 minutes)

   • Enjoy sightseeing around the lake, go swimming, and relax. Spend 2-4 hours on this beautiful spot for clicking photos of the clear lake, which is how the lake gets its name (cermin means mirror).

   • Lunch en-route.

   • In the afternoon, continue to cross-island for a night stay in Kaniungan Island.

   • On the way to Teluk Suleman harbour, see lots of coconut trees on the roadside and mangrove forest.

   • Arrive in Teluk Suleman, cross to island by Tuk Tuk boat. (around 30 minutes).

   • Check in to cottages and enjoy the sunset.

3. Day 3: Kaniungan Island – Teluk Sumbang - Bidadari Waterfall - Dayak Village

   • After breakfast on the island, cross to the mainland of Borneo.

   • Arrive in a small village called Teluk Sumbang bay by tuk-tuk boat.

   • Go sightseeing and trekking around the jungle to Jungle to find Bidadari Waterfall.

   • Return to Teluk Sumbang.

   • Explore Dayak Village. Observe a woman with long ears and tattoos that can be found here as one of the last memorable Dayak Culture signs in the rapidly changing Kalimantan environment.

   • Lunch en route.

   • After lunch, continue exploring the jungle looking for Proboscis monkeys in the Mangrove forest.

   • Visit wells of the Dutch heritage in Teluk Suleman (called Pool Cave).

   • Late afternoon, return to the island.

   • Enjoy the beauty of a sunset.

4. Day 4: Kaniungan Island – Berau

   • After breakfast at 08.00 am, depart from the island around 09:00 am, driving to Berau.

   • Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay and prepare for departure for the following day.

   End of service.
