I was born in Magelang Central Java 56 six years ago.I graduated from the school of dentistry Universitas Indonesia in 1984, since then I worked as a dentist in West Papua.I worked in Jayapura for 7 months and in Biak island for 2 years.The beauty of marine life and the sea environment in Base G beach of Jayapura and in Biak island and small islands around Biak has encouraged me to have a new hobby: snorkeling, fin swimming, and skin diving.Since then, whenever I go to places near beautiful (but safe) beaches, I try to do snorkeling, finswimming, and/or skin diving.  Before I retired from the Ministry of Health on March 1, 2013, I have made several videos of my activities as a tobacco control researcher - but with a highlight on the beauty of Indonesian marine and sea environments.
