Itinerary

1. Day 1- Jayapura To

   • Arrive at Sentani airport of Jayapura, meet the tour guide. 

   • Catch a Trigana flight to Dekai at 10.00 am.

   • Rransfer to Simple Hotel for a short briefing by guide about The Koroway Adventure & Trekking.

   • Prepare everything in Dekai for the next day to Korowai trips.

   Dinner and overnight at Simple Hotel. 

2. Day 2- Dekai To Baygon

   • Transfer by Jeep to Lokpon and ride by a motorized canoe through Brazza River.

   • From Brazza river up to Kolf River and Mabul or Baygon.

   Dinner and overnight in the village of Mabul or upper Mabul (Baygon). 

3. Day 3- The Korowai Adventure

   • Spend the next 04 days in one of the most pristine lowland rain forests in the world.

   • Along the way try and stay with the various tribes which inhabit in the region.

   • Start the adventure by walking through the dense jungle, swampy land, and by walking up the single log.

   • Arrive at the first Koroway camp.

   Stay overnight at tents.

4. Day 4- The Korowai Adventure

   • Spend the next 03 days in one of the most pristine lowland rain forests in the world.
   • The porter will offer their hand to help in the hard or difficult trail.

5. Day 5- The Korowai Adventure

   • Spend the next 02 days in one of the most pristine lowland rain forests in the world.

   • Arrive at the Koroway camp.

   Stay overnight at tents.

6. Day 6- The Korowai Adventure

   • Spend the next day in one of the most pristine lowland rain forests in the world.
   • Arrive at the Koroway camp.

   Stay overnight at tents.

7. Day 7- Explore Mabul

   • Trek to Mabul.

   • Sleep in the jungle near Mabul or at the village itself.

   Lunch will be served en-route. 

   Dinner and overnight in tents.

8. Day 8- Mabul To Dekai

   • Hop on your boat in Mabul for your journey back to Dekai. 

   • Halt for lunch en-route. 

   Dinner and overnight at Simple Hotel in Dekai or in tents.

9. Day 9 - Dekai To Jayapura

   • Spare day in case the flight from Dekai to Jayapura is canceled.

   • Arrive at Jayapura airport and transfer by car to check-in at your hotel.

   • After lunch head out for sightseeing at Sentani traditional market in the afternoon. 

   • Return back to your hotel.

10. Day 10 - Lake Sentani Excursion

    • Experience a traditional boat  journey.

    • Start the lake exploration with a visit to some of the fishermen villages. 

    • Shop for handicrafts.

    • Have lunch at a famous Yowga Restaurant in lake bank. 

    • After lunch drive back to the hotel.

11. Day 11- Final Departure

    • Transfer to the airport leaving Jayapura for your the journey, after breakfast.
