Itinerary

Day 1 - Reach Ranupane & Climb Ranu Kumbolo
Arrive at Surabaya or Malang airport/hotel and get escorted by your Malang tour guide followed by driving to Tumpang. This trip takes 4 hours from Surabaya and 1 hour from Malang.
Head to Ranupane post-breakfast, taking about 1.5 hours to reach and start climbing to Ranu Kumbolo upon arrival, which is a 4-5 hour climb.

Day 2 - View Sunrise & Visit Oro-Oro Ombo
Wake up at 5 am to enjoy the splendid sunrise at Ranu Kumbolo Lake before walking to Oro-Oro Ombo to see the violet flowers, known as 'verbena brasiliensis vell'.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before returning to Ranupane basecamp where a jeep awaits to go back to Tumpang.
Drop-off in Surabaya or Malang.
