Itinerary

1. Bogor Botanical Garden

   • After pick-up from your hotel/apartment, we will drive to Bogor City to explore the Botanical Garden which is situated at the heart of the city. The expanse of the garden is around 84 hectares and after an easy stroll, you will see the Presidential Palace adorned with heavy army staff. But we will get a picture! Experience the tranquility of Lake Danau and a colonial building within the park which is still used as the Presidential residence. You can either walk or rent an electric bike in the park. After spending time here, we will move on to the waterfall.
   • About 45 minutes from the waterfall of Bogor, there is another lesser-known place that offers amazing views, namely the Mulyaharja rice fields in Bogor Regency. These rice terraces are located quite close to the fantastic "Salak Mountain". While the rice terraces of Cibeureum village aren't quite as leveled as the rice terraces of Javanese, the scenery around the place is similarly astonishing. It is recommended that you visit the place either in the morning or evening, to get the best view out of the rice terrace sceneries.
   • We will have lunch at a local Restaurant named Gumati Resto with an exhilarating view of Salak Mountain. There is another option of getting lunch at the rice terraces so you feel like a local in Bali.

   • After lunch, we will visit "Wayang Golek, or wooden puppet maker", a heritage of Sundanese culture. Drive through up the hill for 15 minutes. After arriving we walk along the pine tree to see the monkey families, then walk through to the stony Alley that looks like a canyon. The waterfall here has 3 sides you can choose for swimming or just for rejuvenating your soul and mind. 

   • On our drive back to the city we will follow Ciomas road, so you can experience a local visual cultural treat like a Hindu temple. In an hour we take a U-turn and drop you off at your hotel/apartment. After that, we come back to your place (hotel, house, or apartment).
